Each year, the month of May is recognized as the National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month (NTPPM). Teens are encouraged to have conversations with their parents, educators, and other caregivers about the impacts of being/becoming a parent at an early age and how to prevent teen pregnancies. Having open, honest communication and asking questions can help you make healthy choices that reduce risky behavior.
